Grapevine Wine Club
Greetings Wine lovers! The next meeting of the Grapevine Wine Club is Wednesday, February 22, 7-9:15 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Bloomington. We are very excited to be joined by winemaker Jane Ferrari of Australia’s Yalumba Winery. Jane is one of the wine world’s great characters. She’s passionate, whip-smart and hilarious, and she’ll be presenting some seriously good wine. Yalumba is Australia’s oldest family-owned winery and continues to lead the way in wine quality and environmental responsibility. Expect a night of terrific wine, stories and education. GWC: Joe Kotnik of World Wide Cellars: French Selections June 8: 7-9 PM It’s time for another great meeting of the Grapevine Wine Club, and this is our last meeting until September- so don’t miss it! This time around we will be joined by Joe Kotnik, owner of wine importer/distributor World Wide Cellars. Joe will lead us through a tasting from his fantastic French portfolio with a focus on the fascinating, delicious and wallet-friendly wines of the sunny south. Many of you will recognize some of the wines- Pennautier and Tuileries from one of our old favorites, importer Vincent Garnier....
